The contemporary approach to modeling of the glass melting process involves presentation of concentration fields of inhomogeneities
in a modeled melting space. In addition to kinetics of single inhomogeneities in the melt, their distribution in the
space is therefore calculated. This work presents three distribution models necessary for modeling refining process and glass
quality control: The distribution model of components of oxidation-reduction reactions and two models of particle distribution
(bubbles, solid particles) in the melting space. The model applicability is discussed and examples of model applications
are presented. The methods and procedures of data acquisition for refining models are described. |
