EFFECT OF ELECTRIC POTENTIAL GRADIENT ON THE RATE OF DISSOLUTION UNDER CONDITIONS OF FREE CONVECTION

The effect is analyzed of an electric potential gradient on boundary layer thickness and rate of dissolution of a single-component solid in a binary liquid, one component of which is mobile in an electric field; the special case of a vertical planar solid wall under conditions of free convection is solved.
