In piezoelectric ceramics of the type PbTi1-xZrxO3 and PbO0.95Sr0.05Ti1-xZrxO3, which have been doped with Cr₂O₃, chromium concentrates in the intergranular phase between the prevailing crystalline grains of perovskite structure. According to the respective conditions of sintering the intergranular phase consists of Pb₂CrO₅ or its mixture with Pb₅CrO₈. |
