DETERMINATION OF BINARY PHASE DIAGRAM CURVES BY CALCULATION USING THE INVARIANT POINT DATA OF THE SYSTEM

On the basis of an analysis of conditions for heterogeneous equilibrium and relationships for free Gibbs phase energy, a procedure for the calculation of phase diagram curves is suggested. The calculation is based on a model of regular behaviour of binary ionic substances, and makes use of equilibrial conditions at the invariant point of the system. The individual calculation procedure phases are illustrated on the system PbO-PbF₂.
