An efficient identification system RIFRAN 89 for rapid qualitative and quantitative diffraction phase analysis of polycrystaline materials was developed on the basis of studies [1-4] published earlier. The system is represented by a set of interactive computer programs written in the TURBOBASIG language, and implemented on the 8-bit ATARI 130 XE home computer.
The identifying procedure for the analysis is based on comparing the diffractograms of standards with those of the unknown sample, utilizing statistical criteria and chemical analysis for qualitative analysis, and the method of mathematical optimizing for quantitative analysis. |
